DigitalRVA is sponsored by:
DigitalRVA was founded in 2017 to bring together data-driven marketers of all levels of experience. We host meetups with panel discussions and featured speakers and plenty of time for Q&A.
We strive to create a welcoming, inclusive, diverse set of voices and perspectives to boost Richmond's growing digital marketing community.
In other words, we really just want to meet and hang out with other data geeks.
Be kind and courteous
We're all in this together to create a welcoming environment. Let's treat everyone with respect. Healthy debates are natural, but kindness is required.
No hate speech or bullying
Make sure that everyone feels safe. Bullying of any kind isn't allowed, and degrading comments about things such as race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender, or identity will not be tolerated.
No promotions or spam
Give more to this group than you take. Self-promotion, spam, and irrelevant links aren't allowed.
Respect everyone's privacy
Being part of this group requires mutual trust. Authentic, expressive discussions make groups great, but may also be sensitive and private. What's shared in the group should stay in the group.
Content submissions
Organizers may decline/remove content to prevent duplicate or inaccurate information or because it violates the rules. Hearsay not permitted--share links from verifiable sources. We remain mission focused on content that pertains to digital and data-driven marketing.
No doxing
Doxing is researching and broadcasting private/identifying information about an individual/organization for the purpose of harm, harassment, online shaming, or vigilante justice. Whatever the intentions, it is outside our group's purpose.
No legal, financial, or medical advice
We are not here to serve as attorneys, accountants, or medical providers. Please seek professional advice elsewhere.
Have a concern?
See something concerning or inflammatory, or in some way a potential violation of the group's rules? Please report it to a DigitalRVA organizer.
