Revolutionizing Paid Media: Harnessing the Power of AI and Bidding Optimization for Advertising Success
AI continues to infiltrate all aspects of digital marketing, so to stay ahead of the curve our recent conversation with three experts focused on how the technology is impacting marketers’ ability to optimize bidding for improved paid media success. The panel discussion covered a variety of industries and audience types, and helped attendees better understand how AI can be a benefit and what to watch for so it doesn’t impact results in a negative way.
Panelists included Parker Plaisted, Director of Marketing at Onduline North America, Eric Jenvey, Senior Manager of Data Science with CarMax, and Morgan Jarvis, Director of Paid Media at Workshop Digital. Each panelist brought a unique perspective on AI, representing retail industries, heavily regulated sectors, and agencies that are helping marketers better understand and use AI to improve their advertising.
Discussions highlighted the shift in information available to marketers because of AI, as well as the amount of information that AI is trying to attain from businesses to continuously feed its algorithms. While some marketers are starting to use AI to help build new types of ad campaigns, the general feeling amongst panelists is that there are still some outstanding questions that need to be answered before they’re ready to hand complete control of their programs over to AI.
